Land Art Generator Initiative: Freshkills Park

This exhibition is known for being one of the top 25 designs selected from numerous submissions from around the globe. Many of its designs show conceptual beauty and the ability to convert nature into cleanly energy.  The beauty of the park’s surrounding area gives a large detail from artists’ and architects’ point of view.

The Cat Show

For all you cat fans out there, this exhibit’s for you! Writer and artist Rhonda Lieberman brings cats and art together. Cats shown throughout the exhibition show their cartoonish ways of ruling the internet. This exhibition celebrates all shapes, colors and curious felines. Cat adoption days will also be held July 14/15 and July 19/20.

BLDG 92

Duggal’s Neighbor in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Building 92 is the visitor center at the former shipbuilding. This core exhibit: ‘Brooklyn Navy Yard: Past, Present and Future’ will be on display for history fans to view. The space’s historical impact shows have future plans that continue to grow throughout the Navy Yard.

Harlem Meer Performance Festival 2013

Now in its 20th year, the Harlem Meer Performance Festival presents many genres of music. From Latin to blues, many artists from around the world will be playing their hearts out this summer. Bring chairs or a blanket and relax to great performances every Sunday all summer long!
